Commodities Manager- Resins

This role calls for an astute professional with a robust background in the plastics sector, specifically versed in resins, TiO, carbon black, and chemical additives. Collaborating across departments, you'll enhance supplier performance and champion cost savings. Key responsibilities include managing purchasing for US operations, maintaining comprehensive vendor data, executing market analysis, leading supplier selection and negotiations, and establishing strong supplier relationships through proactive engagement. Your expertise will also drive the development of strategic commodity plans, budgeting, and risk mitigation alongside cross-functional teams.

We are searching for an individual with profound knowledge in the procurement of plastics and chemicals, excellent relationship management skills, and a solid grasp of global supply chain dynamics. Proficiency in advanced analytical tools and software, especially Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Power BI, is essential. A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, Chemistry, or a relevant field is preferred, and a minimum of five years' experience in procurement within the plastics or chemical industry is crucial.
