    Description

    Responsibilities:
    • Lead and perform commissioning activities, including QA/QC and Functional Performance Testing.
    • Support equipment and systems start-up, testing, and verification against design requirements.
    • Identify, document, and resolve system deficiencies and commissioning issues.
    • Coordinate directly with clients, contractors, engineers, and project stakeholders.
    • Prepare commissioning documentation, reports, test results, and closeout materials.

    Education and experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent years of experience
    • At least 4 years of progressive experience in third party Owner commissioning/validation activities such as: Utility infrastructure, life safety, medium and low voltage electrical power systems, low voltage systems, building/facility systems/components, and facility O&M
    • Working knowledge of NFPA, NETA and NICET electrical testing and code requirements
    • Understanding of the Construction and Commissioning process
    • Ability to understand and perform technical document reviews of NETA reports, Coordination Studies, and equipment startup forms
    • Experience executing Functional Performance Testing for electrical systems
    • Technical writing skills for reporting and development of testing protocols
    • Industry recognized CxA commissioning certification
    • Minimum of 2 to 3 years' design experience in building systems electrical design
    • Experience in industrial production and manufacturing projects
    • Professional engineering license
    • LEED or other sustainability certification
    • Basic understanding of other trade disciplines (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Client)
    • Familiar with cloud-based Commissioning Software (Facility Grid)
