Job Summary:

The Commissioning Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the commissioning process for building systems and infrastructure to ensure they are designed, installed, tested, and operate according to project requirements. This role coordinates cross-functional teams, ensures quality assurance, and supports timely project delivery.


Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the commissioning process from design through project closeout

Develop and oversee commissioning plans, schedules, and documentation

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders

Conduct system performance testing, inspections, and issue resolution

Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications

Identify risks, troubleshoot system deficiencies, and implement corrective actions

Provide progress reports and communicate status to leadership and clients


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

5+ years of experience in commissioning, construction, or engineering projects

Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, or mechanical systems (depending on industry)

Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills

Relevant certifications (e.g., CxA, PMP) preferred
