Leading multi-disciplinary team islooking for a Commissioning DepartmentManager for their Grand Rapids team!
Responsibilities:
- Work with project managers to provide resources tosuccessfully execute projects
- Establish work plans/estimates
- Ensure completed work product is consistent withclient requirements and firm’s standards
- Supervise project execution and staff to meetperformance metrics/goals
- Communicate with clients
- Prepare proposals and administer project contracts
- Execute QA/QC process for the Commissioning onprojects
- Maintain backlogs/manpower forecasts to ensureproper staffing levels and department utilization
- Perform staff resource management and annualreviews
- Assist Human Resources on recruitment/training efforts
- Assist with business development
- Participate in trade organizations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineeringpreferred
- 8+ years of Commissioning experience in theBuilding industry
- PE License preferred
- CBCP, CCP, CPMP or CxA Certification
- LEED AP with specialty preferred
- Experience with Commissioning Healthcare, Sports,Commercial, Public Sector, Industrial, Education, and/or Institutional projects
- Strong knowledge of MEP/FP Building systemsdesign/construction processes, building automation systems, and Test andBalance process and procedures
- Knowledge of Revit and energy simulation software
