Commissioning Agent / Designer (MEP firm)

MEP firm has an immediate opening for a Commissioning Agent with design experience. Candidate will spend ~70% commissioning and ~30% assisting in the design of building systems. Direct-hire position with competitive benefits!

Duties:

• Ensure mechanical and electrical building systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, power, lighting low voltage, etc.) are designed, installed, and operating according to customers’ specifications (projects include commercial, healthcare, housing, government, etc.)
• Conduct site inspections to verify that systems are installed correctly
• Review project design drawings, plans, and specifications
• Create commissioning plans – includes project specifications, test procedures, and schedules
• Conduct and manage pre-functional and functional testing
• Act as a liaison between contractors and customers
• Prepare building system plans (HVAC, plumbing, etc.) using Revit

Requirements:

• AAS or Bachelor’s Degree in an applicable engineering/construction discipline (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, HVAC, Construction Management, etc.)
• 3+ years of MEP commissioning experience
• Revit and/or AutoCAD training or experience

Salary: $75-110K
