Job Description
A commissary prep cook/off premise you will prep items using daily prep/par sheets. Using pre-shift and post-shift prep list, stock station. Using standardized recipes create components for menu items for catered events. Keep a clean, organized and sanitized station based on Servsafe and jurisdictional health code standards. Must be able to lift heavy pans and boxes. Proper communication with associates and management. Other duties as assigned.
As a commissary prep cook/off premise, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, contributing to the flawless execution of off-premise events. Your role will encompass a diverse set of responsibilities, including the setup and breakdown of off-premise events, basic kitchen prep tasks, and the management of supplies and tableware. At events you will support the event manager and teammates with loading and unloading trucks.
Roles/Responsibilities
Set up and Break down of assigned station
Prep/stock inventory of assigned station
Follow recipe guide to prepare menu components
Follow all federal, state and local health and safety guidelines in performance of duties
Prepare menu components to spec and package them appropriately for delivery to restaurants
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Must be able to work on Sundays.
Must be able to report to our Owings Mills MD location and off premise event locations to work.
Ability to read and follow standardized recipes
Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
Follow all federal, state and local health and safety guidelines in performance of duties
Be at least 18 years of age
Have reliable means of transportation
Be willing to work a flexible schedule
Have the ability to lift and carry 10 to 55 pounds
Effectively communicate in English or Spanish
