This position manages products across the product lifecycle, from new product setup and trial execution through production transition, ongoing product maintenance, optimization, and end-of-life management. The role coordinates SAP and product-data setup, trials, product changes, production trending, raw-material substitutions, discontinuation, and inactivation. The specialist aligns Operations, Technical Services, Quality, Procurement, Customer Service, Sales, Finance, and NPD to ensure products are implemented, maintained, and closed in a clear, timely, and repeatable manner.

    Key Responsibilities:

    •          Project-manage new product commercialization from SAP setup and trial readiness through trial approval, shipment, release, and transition to routine production.
    •          Coordinate product changes throughout the commercial lifecycle, including BOM/formula, inspection plan, packaging/fill weight, master data, status, version control, documentation, and plant or customer setup.
    •         Manage product trending and proactively identify product or process risk; coordinate reviews and corrective actions intended to reduce downtime, repeat adjustments, and quality failures.
    •          Lead raw-material substitutions, runout transitions, and temporary or permanent version management, including implementation timing, plant coordination, and validation of the resulting SAP/product setup.
    •          Provide technical and SAP support for production troubleshooting, product adjustments, plant-to-plant transfers, trial disposition, version/status issues, and quality-data review.
    •          Project-manage product discontinuation and inactivation, including timing, SAP status, finished-product inventory, unique raw-material exposure, rework/usage opportunities, customer recovery needs, and verified closure.
    •          Serve as the cross-functional communication interface among Operations, Technical Services, Quality, Procurement, Customer Service, Sales, Finance, and NPD; prioritize portfolio workload and lead recurring reviews as needed to clarify ownership and drive completion.
    •          Maintain and improve SOPs, workflows, tracking tools, KPIs, and digital solutions that support clear, repeatable commercialization and product lifecycle processes and reduce manual work or rework.
    •          Maintain accurate and timely lifecycle records and act in accordance with AGRANA compliance guidelines and Safety-First principles.

    Required Qualifications:

    •          Bachelor’s degree, preferably with an Operations, Engineering, Science, or Business focus
    •          Strong organizational, project-management, prioritization, and time-management skills

    •          Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, computer systems, and ERP systems; SAP experience preferred
    •          Ability to manage multiple products, requests, priorities, and timelines simultaneously
