Commercial Wheel & Tire Technician

Pay Range: $22–$27 per hour

Responsible for performing skilled tire and wheel mounting, balancing, inspection, repair, and related warehouse activities for commercial and truck applications. The Technician ensures products are properly assembled and meet quality and safety standards.

• Mount and dismount commercial and truck tires using specialized tire equipment.
• Balance wheels and tires using computerized or mechanical balancing equipment.
• Inspect tires, wheels, and components for damage, wear, and defects.
• Perform approved tire repairs and related tire/wheel services.
• Properly torque wheel components and verify completed assemblies.
• Read and follow work orders, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, tire handlers, and other material-handling equipment as needed.
• Assist with receiving, shipping, staging, and inventory control.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment and production issues.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Assist with training less-experienced employees.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety and quality procedures.

• 1–3+ years of tire, automotive, commercial vehicle, mechanical, warehouse, or related experience preferred.
• Commercial/truck tire experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to safely operate tire mounting and balancing equipment.
• Forklift or other material-handling experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to regularly lift and move heavy tires and wheels.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
