Our client, a national leader in commercial title and escrow services, is seeking a Commercial Title Officer to join itsgrowingAtlantateam.Thispositionoffersanoutstandingopportunityforadetail-orientedtitleprofessionaltoplayacriticalroleinsophisticatedcommercialrealestatetransactionsrangingfromsingle-siteacquisitionstocomplexmulti-stateportfolios.

Candidate Profile

  • Highschooldiplomaorequivalentrequired
  • 3-5yearsofcommercialtitleexperiencerequired
  • Strongknowledgeofcommercialtitlecommitments,policies,endorsements,andunderwritingrequirements
  • Experiencesupportingcommercialrealestatetransactionsfromtitlereviewthroughclosingandpost-closingactivities
  • Abilitytoanalyzeandevaluatetitlerecords,surveys,legaldescriptions,andduediligencematerials
  • Strongattentiontodetailwithexceptionalorganizationalandproblem-solvingskills
  • Excellentverbalandwrittencommunicationskills
  • ProficiencywithMicrosoftOfficeandabilitytoquicklylearnnewsoftwareplatformsandtechnologies
  • Abilitytomanagemultipleprioritiesanddeadlinesinafast-pacedenvironment

  • Properlypricetitlecommitments,endorsements,policies,andguaranteesutilizingappropriatefeeschedulesandratestructures
  • Reviewandapproveavarietyoflegaldocumentation,includingdeeds,operatingagreements,corporateresolutions,andrelatedtransactionaldocuments
  • Prepare,revise,andissuetitlecommitments,proformatitlepolicies,andendorsements
  • Selectappropriatetitlepolicylanguageandwrite-upsforstandardandextendedcoveragetransactions
  • Supportcommercialrealestatetransactionsthroughtitlecommitmentreview,orderingtitleandtaxupdates,obtainingtitlecurativedocumentation,andassemblingrecordingandtransfertaxinformation
  • Reviewbuyer,seller,andlenderinstructionsandtransactiondocumentsforclosing
  • Analyzesurveys,titlereports,andotherduediligencematerialstoidentifyandresolvetitleissues
  • Obtainunderwritingapprovalsandrespondtotitleexaminationinquiries
  • Coordinatetitlecurativemattersandfacilitateresolutionoftitle-relatedissues
  • Issuefinaltitlepoliciesandendorsementsinaccordancewithcompanyunderwritingguidelines
  • Create,maintain,andorganizetransactionfiles,records,andreports
  • Partnerwithinternalteamsandexternalclientstoensuresmoothandtimelytransactionexecution
