Hire Up Staffing is seeking an experienced
Commercial Tire Service Technician for an opportunity in Gulfport, MS. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating a road service truck and installing truck and industrial tires in a variety of field conditions.
This is a physically demanding position that requires someone who is dependable, safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, and not afraid of hard work or challenging conditions.
Responsibilities
- Operate a road service truck to provide mobile commercial tire services.
- Install, remove, repair, and service truck and industrial tires.
- Perform roadside and on-site tire changes and repairs.
- Safely use tire-changing equipment, tools, jacks, and other service equipment.
- Inspect tires for wear, damage, and safety concerns.
- Provide professional and dependable customer service in the field.
- Maintain the service truck, tools, and equipment in safe working condition.
- Follow all company safety procedures and DOT requirements.
- Work outdoors and in varying weather and job-site conditions.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
- Perform other duties related to commercial tire service as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience servicing commercial truck and/or industrial tires required.
- Experience operating a road service truck strongly preferred.
- Ability to safely install and service large truck and industrial tires.
- Insurable driving record is required.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools.
- Ability to work independently in the field.
- Must be comfortable working in physically demanding environments and sometimes difficult conditions.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy equipment and tires.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
