Commercial Tire Service Technician
Reports to: Store/Service Manager
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid State Drivers License
- Able to be insured to operate company provided vehicles
- Available to work full time
- Must have dependable transportation
- Must be able to spend extended periods on your feet
- Must to able to lift 50-75 pounds on a regular basis
- Must have basic mechanical aptitude and follow and retain basic instructions
Scope
Assist Service/Shop manager with various duties. Performing tire installation and repair service on all types of auto, light truck, commercial(semi truck), farm and industrial tires on a timely basis. Eventually leading to after hours(24/7) road service installation and repairs with minimal or no supervision. Advise mangers of necessary shop and vehicle repairs.

- Being able to service all aspects of the job independently with minimal or no supervision.
- Being able to evaluate unfamiliar processes and help create solutions to uncommon problems.
- Having the desire to help create both company and personal profitability.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Consistently reporting to work on a daily basis with minimal absences.
- Performing tire repairs and installation on a safe and efficient basis.
- Communicate with management needed repairs or deficiencies in equipment or personnel.
- Asking, learning and (most importantly) retaining knowledge of the job and services and customer needs.
