Description

Commercial Roofing Leak Diagnostics Foreman

Location: Minnesota RMM (Service) Division

Relocation: Relocation Assistance Available for the qualified candidate.

Compensation: $40–$50 per hour, based on experience

A day in this role

You start your morning reviewing the day’s service calls. A facility manager reported a persistent roof leak above a production line—EPDM system with multiple prior patches. You arrive, diagnose the failure points, document the conditions with photos, and craft a precise repair scope. With your 1–2 person crew, you execute permanent, code-compliant fixes. Before leaving, you walk the remainder of the roof, spot a failing penetration boot, and note it for a follow-up repair. You wrap up by updating the mobile service app with notes and images, then head to an on-call emergency where your troubleshooting skills keep another customer dry.

Why this service role stands out

  • Service work only: Focus on leak detection, repairs, diagnostics, and inspections—no large production installs. You’ll still work outdoors, but service often means less time in extreme heat or cold than full-day production.
  • Potential overtime: Additional hours may be available based on operational needs.
  • Autonomy: We trust experienced pros—enjoy room to make sound decisions without constant oversight.
  • Use your expertise: Apply deep roofing knowledge to protect customers’ facilities.
  • Flexible scheduling: Adjust your day around customer and operational demands.
  • Paid travel time: Window/drive time is paid, including driveway-to-driveway where applicable, subject to established travel-distance guidelines.
