The role
The priority is being a visible face of the bank in the community.
Responsibilities
- Develop new relationships through prospecting, referrals, and community involvement
- Gather core deposits and cross-sell treasury management and other bank services
- Manage a portfolio of commercial and consumer clients and structure C&I, CRE, SBA, construction, and equipment loans
- Represent the bank in community organizations and local events
- Over time, help build a team in the market
Ideal background
- Trusted community banker
- Deep, visible roots in Fayette County or an adjacent market
- Proven ability to gather deposits and build relationships with local business owners and professionals
- Active in civic organizations
- Existing book of business is preferred but not required
- 10+ years of experience in commercial banking
- Entrepreneurial mindset
