If you’re an experienced refrigeration tech, you already know your skills are in demand. So why not work somewhere that recognizes what you bring to the table?
Sila Services/NETR is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Commercial Refrigeration Technician who knows their way around walk-ins, reach-ins, ice machines, rooftop equipment, and commercial refrigeration systems — and knows how to troubleshoot when things get complicated.
We offer steady work, great pay, strong benefits, overtime opportunities, and a team that appreciates experienced techs.
You bring the refrigeration experience. We’ll give you a place to build on it.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll diagnose, service, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration and HVAC/R equipment for our customers, including:
- Walk-in coolers and freezers
- Reach-in refrigerators and freezers
- Commercial ice machines
- Remote condensing units
- Refrigeration racks and supermarket systems
- Rooftop units
- Compressors, evaporators, condensers, and expansion valves
- Electronic controls, thermostats, sensors, and defrost systems
You’ll troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, perform leak detection and refrigerant recovery/charging, analyze superheat and subcooling, complete preventative maintenance, and make sure equipment is operating the way it should.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who can get into the field and knows what they’re doing.
You should have 5+ years of commercial refrigeration/HVAC-R service experience, strong diagnostic skills, and experience working with commercial refrigeration equipment.
EPA Section 608 certification and a valid driver’s license are required. Trade school or HVAC/R technical training is preferred.
You should also be comfortable brazing and soldering, reading wiring diagrams and service manuals, and using gauges, meters, vacuum pumps, recovery machines, and other diagnostic tools.
Most importantly, you can diagnose the problem, figure out the solution, communicate with the customer, and get the equipment back up and running.
