    A day in this role

    It’s an early start in Southwest GA. Your first stop: a bustling retail site where a walk-in cooler is running warm. You assess the refrigeration circuit, isolate the fault, and bring temperatures back into spec. By midday, you’re performing preventative maintenance on a rooftop unit—checking belts, verifying airflow, and documenting readings. The afternoon wraps with a new split-system install and a conversation with the facilities manager about best practices and upcoming service needs. Throughout the day, you prioritize safety, accuracy, and clear communication.

    What you’ll handle

    • Care for commercial HVAC/R assets through scheduled maintenance and on-demand repairs.
    • Pinpoint and resolve issues across heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment.
    • Install and commission new HVAC/R systems and components as assigned.
    • Adhere to safety protocols and applicable codes, ensuring work meets industry standards.
    • Engage customers with professional, solutions-focused service updates and recommendations.
    • Record diagnostics, parts used, and service outcomes with thorough documentation.
    • Team up with peers to streamline processes and elevate service quality.
    • Keep pace with emerging HVAC/R technologies and best practices.

    What you bring

    • High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC/R technical training preferred.
    • 3+ years of hands-on experience servicing commercial HVAC/R systems.
    • Depth of knowledge in system components, operation, and diagnostic techniques.
    • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
    • Strong troubleshooting mindset and meticulous attention to detail.
    • Self-starter who collaborates effectively when the job calls for a team effort.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • EPA certification is a plus.
