Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal for a highly respected law firm with a sophisticated commercial real estate and transactional practice. This is a hybrid opportunity offering a combination of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to provide substantive transactional support across commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, financings, development projects, and leasing matters. This individual will play a key role in transaction management, title and survey review, due diligence, closing coordination, and post-closing activities while managing multiple active transactions and critical deadlines. The ideal candidate is a proactive, highly organized real estate professional who can independently manage sophisticated assignments while delivering accurate work product and exceptional client service.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, financings, development projects, and leasing matters throughout all stages of the transaction lifecycle

  • Order, review, and analyze title commitments, title exception documents, surveys, zoning reports, and other due diligence materials; prepare summaries and assist with identifying and resolving title and survey issues

  • Manage transaction checklists, due diligence materials, closing calendars, critical deadlines, and transaction documents across multiple concurrent matters

  • Draft, revise, proofread, organize, and track real estate transaction documents, signature materials, funding documentation, and closing deliverables

  • Coordinate with attorneys, clients, title companies, surveyors, lenders, borrowers, purchasers, sellers, opposing counsel, and other transaction participants to facilitate efficient closings

  • Manage closing and post-closing activities, including tracking executed documents, coordinating closing deliverables, assembling closing binders, and maintaining complete transaction records

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal within a law firm

  • Strong understanding of commercial real estate transactions and debt financing, including hands-on experience reviewing title commitments, surveys, and related due diligence materials

  • Exceptional organizational, project management, and time-management skills with the ability to independently manage multiple transactions and competing closing deadlines

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, document management systems, and electronic closing platforms, with strong drafting, proofreading, analytical, and problem-solving abilities

  • Proactive and responsive professional with excellent communication skills, sound judgment, attention to detail, and a commitment to exceptional client service and high-quality work product

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This opportunity offers competitive compensation ranging from $80,000-$100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
