Join our team in Troy, Michigan, conveniently located in the Metro Detroit area. We believe great legal work comes from collaboration, so this is a fully on-site opportunity where you'll work closely with experienced colleagues.

Note

Candidates must be admitted to practice law in Michigan and comfortable working on-site in Troy. We welcome attorneys from law firms, in-house legal departments, and solo practices. Experience in commercial real estate, construction law, commercial litigation, or related business law is preferred, but we're open to motivated attorneys eager to learn and grow.

Job Description

• Handle and support commercial real estate transactions, leasing agreements, and development-related legal matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, commercial leases, and other legal documents.
• Assist with title reviews, due diligence, and real estate-related legal issues.
• Work collaboratively on commercial litigation, construction law, and business disputes.
• Provide practical legal guidance to business owners, developers, contractors, and commercial clients.
• Conduct legal research, develop strategies, and help resolve complex legal challenges.
• Collaborate with fellow attorneys to deliver thoughtful, effective solutions for clients.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan Bar admission required.
• 2+ years of experience in commercial real estate, construction law, commercial litigation, or related business law preferred.
• Strong legal research, drafting, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze legal issues and develop practical solutions.
• Collaborative mindset, strong work ethic, and commitment to client service.
• Willingness to learn new practice areas and grow professionally.
• Comfortable working fully on-site in Troy, Michigan.

• Salary Bands (Only if attorney role): 
• $100K to $120K (0 to 3 years); 
• $120K to $150K (4 to 6 years); 
• $150K to $175K (7 to 10 years); 
• $175K to $200K (11+ years). Recruiter-recommended bands within the client-confirmed range.
