    Location: Nashville, TN. This is a flexible hybrid opportunity with no mandated number of in-office days; the typical Nashville schedule is approximately 3 days in the office per week.

    Job Description

    • Draft, review and negotiate sophisticated commercial real estate leases and related agreements.
    • Represent both landlords and tenants in commercial leasing matters across a variety of property types.
    • Advise clients on leasing strategy, legal risks, business considerations and transaction structure.
    • Collaborate with attorneys and professionals across practice areas to deliver practical, business-focused solutions.
    • Manage multiple matters efficiently while maintaining high standards of legal analysis, drafting and client service.
    • Develop trusted relationships with clients and serve as a strategic legal advisor on commercial real estate matters.
    • Participate in ongoing professional development and training while working within a reduced billable hours structure.

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years of directly relevant commercial real estate leasing experience.
    • Active Tennessee bar license in good standing.
    • J.D. from an accredited law school.
    • Quality law firm experience.
    • Strong experience drafting and negotiating commercial leases.
    • Excellent analytical, written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and clients.
    • Must be based in Nashville, TN.
