A bit about us:Our client is a full-service, multi-office law firm that has grown quickly and recently expanded into Southern California. Its real estate practice is one of the firm’s core groups. The team represents developers, investors, owners, lenders and operating businesses on deals across asset classes, including office, retail, industrial, multifamily and mixed-use. The Los Angeles office gives a senior real estate lawyer the backing of a national platform without the bureaucracy of a mega-firm. Attorneys here work closely with the Firm’s corporate, finance, tax and litigation groups, so clients get complete service and you get a team that can handle whatever a deal turns up.
Why join us?- You’ll lead deals. This is a senior seat, and you’ll run transactions from LOI to closing, manage the client relationship and set strategy.
- You’ll help build the office. The Los Angeles real estate practice is still growing, and the lawyer in this seat will shape what it becomes.
- The work is sophisticated. You’ll handle acquisitions, dispositions, financing, development and complex leasing for clients who do repeat business.
- The billable target is 1,700 hours, so you’ll have time for business development and for building your network.
- Your own clients count. The Firm rewards lawyers who originate work, and its range of practice groups makes cross-selling straightforward.
- Base salary is $250,000–$300,000 depending on experience, plus a full benefits package.
- There’s room to grow. The Firm promotes from within, and lawyers who build a practice have a clear long-term path.
