Commercial Real Estate Associate

A busy real estate practice in the Bethesda area is looking to add a transactional associate with approximately 5–7 years of commercial real estate experience.

This attorney will work closely with experienced partners on a variety of commercial real estate transactions, supporting a busy practice with a strong pipeline of work. Matters include sophisticated commercial developments, acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing, along with broader corporate and real estate work.

What they're looking for:

• 5–7 years of commercial real estate transactional experience

• Experience with purchase and sale agreements, leasing, and real estate transactions

• Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills

• Ability to support senior attorneys while continuing to develop transactional experience

• Maryland Bar admission

Compensation and benefits:

• Salary range of $170,000–$200,000

• Origination incentives

• Additional bonus opportunity for attorneys billing 1,600+ hours

The firm expects attorneys to work in the office during their first 90 days, followed by a hybrid schedule requiring at least three days in the office each week.
