Commercial Real Estate Associate | 3–7 Years of Experience
Location: Raleigh or Durham, NC

A law firm seeks a Commercial Real Estate Associate with 3–7 years of substantive transactional experience. Work includes acquisitions, sales, financing, leasing, and development across diverse commercial property types.

Responsibilities:

• Draft and negotiate purchase agreements, leases, financing documents, and related contracts.

• Oversee diligence, title and survey review, and closings.

• Coordinate with clients, lenders, brokers, and other transaction participants.

• Advise on transaction risks and practical business considerations.

• Collaborate across practice groups and assume increasing deal responsibility.

Qualifications:

• J.D. with excellent academic credentials.

• 3–7 years of commercial real estate transactional experience.

• Licensed in a U.S. jurisdiction; North Carolina admission required within one year.

• Strong drafting, negotiation, and transaction-management skills.

• Familiarity with title, survey, financing, leasing, and closing procedures.

• Firm, developer, lender, or sophisticated in-house real estate experience valued.
