About the Opportunity

Excellent opportunity for a seasoned Commercial Property Manager to join a national real estate investment and ownership company overseeing a premier Class A retail/commercial component within a stunning luxury mixed-use development. While the overall complex includes a residential component, this position is strictly focused on the commercial/retail operations and ownership side of the asset.

This role is ideal for someone coming from a large institutional brokerage or third-party management company who is looking to transition in house with ownership and have a more direct impact on the asset, operations, and long-term strategy. Seeking a polished, proactive professional who understands high-level commercial operations, tenant relations, budgeting, reporting, and ownership communication.

The firm is known for owning and operating high-profile properties and offers the opportunity to work directly alongside ownership in a sophisticated, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations for the commercial/retail portion of a luxury mixed-use asset
• Serve as the primary point person for commercial tenants, vendors, ownership, and third-party relationships
• Maintain strong tenant relations and ensure a high level of tenant satisfaction and responsiveness
• Prepare and oversee annual operating budgets, variance reporting, and financial analysis
• Monitor property financial performance, cash flow, and operating expenses
• Review and approve invoices, vendor contracts, and service agreements
• Coordinate with accounting teams on billing, reconciliations, and reporting processes
• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure the asset is maintained to Class A standards
• Oversee capital improvement projects, vendor performance, and ongoing property operations
• Work closely with ownership and senior leadership on asset strategy and operational initiatives
• Ensure compliance with building procedures, operational standards, and applicable regulations
• Coordinate with leasing teams regarding tenant turnover, openings, and operational needs
• Prepare ownership reports and maintain accurate operational documentation

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of commercial property management experience required
• Experience managing Class A retail, office, mixed-use, or institutional-quality commercial assets
• Background coming from a large institutional brokerage or third-party management company strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of commercial property operations, budgeting, reporting, and tenant relations
• Experience working directly with ownership groups, institutional clients, or sophisticated investors
• Highly polished, professional, and organized with strong communication skills
• Strong financial and operational acumen
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate independently
• Experience overseeing vendors, capital projects, and building operations
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management/accounting systems required

Compensation

Compensation commensurate with experience, ranging from $100,000 - $125,000
