    A Snapshot of Your Day (position overview)

    Our Complex Projects organization is looking for a highly driven, self-motivated Commercial Project Manager (CPM) / Project Controller to join our team of CPMs! In this role, you will be responsible for all commercial aspects and project financials (controlling, reporting, and forecasting). You will work together with our project management organization with the main objective of completing projects according to our contractual obligations, project management standards, and applicable financial guidelines.

    A strong attention to detail, the ability to think critically, and a collaborative mindset are critical traits for success in this role.

    How You'll Make an Impact (responsibilities)

    • · Fully responsible for all commercial and finance-related matters, including Accounting, Legal, Tax, and New Collaboration Model topics.
    • · Manage and optimize financial results with due professional care, including revenue, project gross profit, cash flow, assets, and financing instruments.
    • · Lead all aspects of monthly revenue recognition and the financial close process ensuring compliance with IFRS 15, reporting guidelines, and internal controls.
    • · Prepare and present commercial documentation for project status meetings, ensuring accuracy in project data, forecasts, cash flow, and financial reporting.
    • · Support project management in risk assessment, non-conformance cost reduction, reporting structures, and integrating lessons learned into projects and the organization.
    • · Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive solutions
    • · Lead ad hoc requests as required

    What You Bring (requirements)

    • · Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
    • · 5+ years of professional experience in Accounting or Finance, preferably with experience in Project Management.
    • · Strong understanding of IFRS, with proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office, and analytical tools like Alteryx and Tableau (preferred).
    • · Ability to optimally communicate financial information to non-financial partners, work in a team-oriented environment, and lead multiple tasks under pressure to meet deadlines.
    • · Must be able to travel approximately 5%.
    • · CPA (preferred)
    • · Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

    Gas Services

    Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
