We are seeking a talented Commercial Project Manager to join a respected construction organization serving the Greater Philadelphia market. This position offers the opportunity to manage diverse commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, working alongside experienced industry professionals in a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

Description

The Commercial Project Manager will be responsible for the overall planning, execution, and financial performance of multiple construction projects. This role will oversee project schedules, budgets, subcontractor management, procurement, contract administration, and client communications.

Key responsibilities include coordinating preconstruction activities, reviewing drawings and specifications, preparing and managing project budgets, leading project meetings, negotiating subcontract agreements, tracking project costs, managing change orders, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with superintendents, owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

The successful candidate will proactively identify and resolve project challenges, maintain strong stakeholder relationships, and contribute to business growth through exceptional client service and project execution.

Profile

A successful Commercial Building and Construction Project Manager should have:

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial construction project management
  • Proven ability to manage projects from inception through completion
  • Experience managing commercial ground-up and renovation projects
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, and cost control
  • Experience with subcontractor procurement and contract management
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Knowledge of construction means, methods, and best practices
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with project management and scheduling software
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
