Commercial Portfolio Analyst

A long-standing, reputable community bank is confidentially seeking an experienced Commercial Portfolio Analyst to join its commercial lending team.

Responsibilities:

- Assist with managing and maintaining a well-performing commercial loan portfolio

- Analyze financial statements, cash flow, and borrower creditworthiness

- Prepare loan presentations and credit memos for approval

- Work directly with commercial clients to understand their financial needs

- Maintain existing relationships while identifying opportunities for additional business

- Assist with credit issues, delinquencies, overdrafts, and portfolio monitoring

Qualifications:

- 3 to 5 years of commercial credit analysis experience

- Formal credit training preferred

- Strong commercial credit and underwriting knowledge, specifically C&I or investment real estate

- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team

- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
