    Commercial Plumbing Estimator / Project Manager

    Lawrenceville, GA (field based role with travel across middle through north Georgia)

    Full Time

    $75,000 to $85,000 per year

    About the Role

    Smith Mechanical, Inc. is looking for a Commercial Plumbing Estimator and Project Manager who can own a project from bid to close out. In this hybrid role, you will prepare accurate estimates and bids, then carry those projects through execution while coordinating field crews, subcontractors, and schedules to keep jobs on time and on budget.

     

    What You’ll Do

    Review plans, specs, and blueprints to prepare detailed commercial plumbing estimates and bids

    Perform material takeoffs and pricing for labor, materials, and equipment

    Submit competitive, accurate bids to general contractors and clients

    Manage awarded projects from kickoff through close out, including scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor coordination

    Track project costs against estimates and identify variances early

    Communicate with clients, general contractors, and field teams to resolve issues and keep projects moving

    Handle change orders, submittals, and project documentation

    Ensure work meets code requirements and quality standards

     

    What We’re Looking For

    Experience estimating and managing commercial plumbing projects

    Strong understanding of commercial plumbing systems, codes, and construction processes

    Ability to read blueprints and specs with accuracy

    Comfortable with estimating software and project management tools

    Excellent organizational and communication skills

    Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

    Valid driver’s license
