Commercial Plumber

This role focuses primarily on new commercial construction projects, installing and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial, industrial, and institutional settings. Key Responsibilities Install, assemble, and repair commercial plumbing systems including: Sanitary drain, waste, and vent systems.

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Plumber to join our team. This role focuses primarily on new commercial construction projects, installing and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial, industrial, and institutional settings. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and experienced in large-scale plumbing systems.Key Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and repair commercial plumbing systems including:
  • Sanitary drain, waste, and vent systems
  • Domestic water piping systems
  • Gas piping and specialty systems (e.g., medical gas when applicable)
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings
• Perform layout, measuring, and cutting for piping systems
• Install plumbing fixtures and equipment in commercial buildings
• Collaborate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades on job sites
• Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and safety regulations
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues during installation or inspection
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean job site

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial plumbing experience (preferred)
• Knowledge of commercial construction plumbing practices (new construction focus)
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience with PVC, copper, cast iron, and gas piping systems
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment
• OSHA knowledge and safety-first mindset

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in confined spaces
• Comfortable working on active construction sites and varying weather conditions

Work Environment

• Primarily commercial job sites (new construction projects make up the majority of work)
• Typical schedule: Monday–Friday, daytime hours, with occasional overtime based on project needs #SSPRI
