    Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Paralegal to join a dynamic legal team. This is an onsite role in Michigan that requires exceptional organizational abilities, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. The ideal candidate will support attorneys in a variety of legal matters, ensuring seamless case management and contributing to the firm’s success.
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Conduct legal research and draft documents, including pleadings, motions, contracts, and correspondence.
    • Manage case files and maintain organized documentation throughout the lifecycle of a case.
    • Prepare for trials, hearings, and depositions by organizing exhibits, evidence, and witnesses.
    • Track and meet monthly billable hour requirements (minimum of 155 hours).
    • Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel regarding case-related matters.
    • Perform administrative duties such as scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and tracking deadlines.
    • Utilize legal software and databases to manage cases effectively and efficiently.
    Qualifications:
    • Experience as a paralegal, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department.
    • Paralegal certification or degree in Legal Studies is a plus.
    • Skills:
      • Proficiency in legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis).
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
      • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
      • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
    • Familiarity with Michigan laws and court procedures is preferred.
    Compensation and Benefits:
    • Salary: $75,000 - $90,000, based on experience.
    • Performance Incentives: Annual reviews with performance-based raises and bonuses.
