About Our Client:

Addison Group is partnering with our client, a well-established financial institution, to hire a Commercial Loan Specialist. This position supports the loan operations team through a combination of commercial loan documentation, servicing, and administrative support. The ideal candidate will have prior banking experience and a strong understanding of loan processing procedures and regulatory requirements.

Job Description:

The Commercial Loan Specialist will play a key role in supporting commercial, consumer, and real estate lending activities. This individual will assist with preparing and reviewing loan documentation, maintaining loan records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and banking regulations. This role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review documentation for commercial and consumer loan transactions, including renewals and modifications
• Verify approvals, collateral details, and required documentation for compliance and accuracy
• Maintain and update loan information within internal systems and tracking platforms
• Support the boarding and servicing of new and existing loans
• Review title work, insurance documents, flood certifications, and collateral records
• Coordinate filing of real estate-related loan documentation
• Process loan payments, payoffs, disbursements, reversals, and fee-related transactions
• Monitor reports, reconcile loan activity, and assist with daily balancing functions
• Respond to internal and external requests related to loan research, payoff information, verifications, and account inquiries
• Assist management with operational projects and process improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of banking experience with a focus on loan operations or loan administration
• 2+ years of experience handling loan documentation preparation
• Knowledge of commercial lending processes and loan servicing procedures
• Familiarity with banking regulations and compliance standards
• Understanding of loan accounting and reconciliation processes
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word
• Experience with loan documentation or banking software systems preferred
