Job Summary:
The Commercial Loan Documentation Specialist II administers processes required to support the creation, closing, and review of loan documentation and perfection of collateral for the Commercial Loan portfolio. Perform all responsibilities to ensure compliance with established goals for timeliness and accuracy.
Essential Job Functions include, but are not limited to:
Administer processes for transmittal, review, retention, and monitoring of loan documents in the commercial lending portfolio, including but not limited to:
Review and understand commercial loan terms, conditions and financial components as detailed in credit approval documents. Identify potential problems and solutions.
Provide guidance to business partners and coworkers as necessary.
Review Processor tab of Commercial Documentation Checklist to ensure a complete loan file.
Create loan document package for assigned loans that comply with approved terms and conditions. Documentation may include, but is not limited to, notes, security agreements/mortgages, guarantees, assignments, stock powers, account holds, UCC filings and subordinate agreements, closing instructions, and other supporting documents.
Complete Commercial Documentation Checklist to ensure accuracy of loan documents.
Demonstrate a level of expertise with loan documentation language and interact with loan officers to review potential concerns and/or necessary edits.
Submit accurate loan closing packages to Lending Quality Assurance for final review in a timely manner to ensure closing date commitments are met.
Set up UCC filings in iLien as needed, per credit approval.
Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of Bank policies, procedures, and compliance requirements along with in-depth knowledge of all forms of commercial loan documentation and closing requirements.
Upload supporting loan documentation to Sageworks during documentation process, as needed.
Participate in team meetings as appropriate and/or requested.
Comply with all rules and regulations associated with commercial loans.
Loan Documentation Specialist II may document more complex loan requests and/or project work, and serve as a resource to Loan Documentation Specialist I.
Perform duties related to the Bank Secrecy Act under the guidance of the BSA Officer.

The associate is frequently required to sit and/or stand, communicate, reach, and manipulate objects, tools or controls that are typical of an office/bank environment. Lifting items weighting up to 10 pounds on a consistent basis. Manual dexterity and coordination are required over 80% of the work period while operating equipment such as computers, phones, calculators, etc. Weekend and evening work will be required.
