A bit about us:
Our client is a Houston based boutique litigation firm with a practice built around the real estate industry. For roughly two decades, the firm has advised institutional property investors, owners, and professional management companies on disputes that affect their portfolios and their daily operations. Its trial record runs into the thousands of matters, from high value commercial disputes in federal court to fast moving filings in local justice courts.
The firm is known for its depth in Texas landlord and tenant law and its steady presence in the multifamily housing community. Its leaders are active in industry associations, contribute to the development of standard lease documents, and regularly speak to large audiences of property professionals. The practice also covers commercial real estate matters, construction disputes, homeowner association conflicts, premises liability and personal injury defense, entity formation, and property tax litigation.
Our client takes a practical approach to every file. The team pursues early resolution when it serves the client and prepares to try the case when it does not.
Why join us?
Real courtroom time. This company handles a high volume of contested matters, so attorneys appear in court often and build trial skills quickly rather than waiting years for opportunities.
Range of work. You will see everything from routine possession matters to complex, high dollar commercial disputes, which broadens your experience and sharpens your judgment.
A specialized niche with staying power. Our client has built a strong reputation and long standing relationships with sophisticated real estate clients, giving you a stable base of recurring work.
Visibility in the industry. The firm encourages attorneys to take part in seminars, trade groups, and client education, which helps you grow your professional profile and network.
Direct mentorship. As a boutique, the firm offers regular access to senior trial lawyers who have tried a very large number of cases.
Focused, collegial environment. You will work in a small team where your contributions are visible and your input is valued, without the layers of a large firm.
