You'll handle all aspects of commercial litigation — drafting pleadings and motions, preparing discovery and handling discovery disputes, taking and defending depositions, court appearances, and day-to-day case and client management — appearing before New York state and federal courts and in arbitrations, working both independently and as part of a strong litigation team. Job Details

You'll handle all aspects of commercial litigation — drafting pleadings and motions, preparing discovery and handling discovery disputes, taking and defending depositions, court appearances, and day-to-day case and client management — appearing before New York state and federal courts and in arbitrations, working both independently and as part of a strong litigation team.
Must-haves:

• J.D. with superior academic credentials.
• 5+ years of experience in complex commercial litigation.
• Active New York Bar admission (non-negotiable).
• New York State court experience — real courtroom time, not just docket management.
• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves:

• New Jersey Bar admission (confirm with client whether this should move to must-have — see Gap

List).

• Federal court and arbitration experience.
