What You’ll Do
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Draft complex motions, pleadings, discovery, and persuasive legal correspondence
- Take and defend depositions
- Represent clients in mediations, motion hearings, pretrial proceedings, and trials
- Review case files and electronic databases to identify key evidence and prepare exhibits
- Develop deposition and trial outlines
- Meet directly with clients, evaluate legal issues, and help shape litigation strategy
- Analyze complex disputes and recommend practical, results-driven solutions
- Negotiate on behalf of clients and help move cases toward efficient resolution
- Collaborate closely with senior attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants
- Delegate assignments to support staff and oversee the quality and completion of their work
- Assist with commercial disputes and employment-related matters
What the Firm Is Looking For
- At least two years of litigation experience
- Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Experience taking depositions
- Prior courtroom and hearing experience
- Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Sound judgment and a solutions-oriented approach
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines effectively
- A collaborative attitude and genuine desire to grow professionally
