Long Island, NY | Hybrid | $145K–$185K + Bonus
A highly regarded, full-service New York law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate with 3+ years of experience to join its growing business litigation practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated litigator looking for meaningful responsibility, direct partner and client exposure, sophisticated matters, and long-term advancement within a collaborative midsize platform.
The Work
The associate will handle a broad range of complex commercial disputes, which may include:
Contract and business disputes
Shareholder and partnership litigation
Trademark, copyright, and trade secret matters
Restrictive covenant and employment disputes
Construction and real estate litigation
Antitrust and unfair business practice matters
Securities-related disputes
Insurance coverage matters
Article 78 proceedings
Arbitration and other alternative dispute resolution
Associates will have the opportunity to take substantive ownership over matters rather than operating within a narrowly siloed litigation role.

Compensation
Base Salary: $145,000–$185,000
Final compensation will depend on experience, credentials, and relevant skill set.
Job Details
Ideal Background
3+ years of litigation experience, preferably commercial/business litigation
Experience drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and substantive legal memoranda
Experience managing discovery and conducting or defending depositions
Court appearance experience
Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Strong academic credentials
Law Review and/or Moot Court experience is a plus
New York Bar admission required
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
