Job Details
Manage all phases of commercial litigation from inception through resolution
Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, pleadings, and memoranda
Handle discovery, including document review, depositions, and e-discovery strategy
Prepare witnesses, experts, and clients for hearings and trial proceedings
Participate in court appearances, arbitrations, mediations, and trials
Develop case strategy and collaborate closely with partners on complex matters
Analyze business disputes involving contracts, corporate governance, fiduciary duties, and related commercial issues
Communicate directly with clients regarding case developments and litigation strategy
Coordinate with opposing counsel, vendors, experts, and internal teams
Support trial teams on high-profile litigation matters
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school
Active membership in the California State Bar or ability to become admitted promptly
4+ years of commercial litigation experience at a reputable law firm
Experience handling sophisticated business disputes
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical abilities
Experience with discovery, motion practice, and deposition preparation
Excellent oral advocacy and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong academic credentials preferred
Trial, arbitration, or evidentiary hearing experience is a plus
