We are partnering with a leading national law firm seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate to join its Phoenix practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced litigator looking for sophisticated matters, greater case ownership, direct client exposure, and continued courtroom experience.

The associate will work with attorneys representing clients across the technology, manufacturing, transportation, logistics, and supply-chain industries, handling complex disputes in state and federal court.

The Role:

You will have meaningful involvement throughout the litigation lifecycle, including:

• Conducting factual investigations and managing discovery
• Drafting pleadings, briefs, and substantive motions
• Taking and defending depositions
• Preparing for and arguing motions
• Participating in mediations and settlement negotiations
• Handling state and federal court matters
• Supporting arbitrations and trials
• Communicating directly with clients
• Contributing to litigation strategy and case management

Experience with administrative matters, arbitration, transportation, or supply-chain disputes is a plus. Second-chair trial or arbitration experience is preferred but not required.

What We're Looking For:

Candidates should have:

• 4–6 years of commercial litigation experience
• Active Arizona Bar admission or a commitment to obtaining it promptly
• Strong discovery, deposition, and motion practice experience
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Strong professional judgment and client communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple sophisticated matters
• A proactive, collaborative, and entrepreneurial approach
