Our Commercial Policy Processing department is currently seeking a policy support assistant. This associate will support our Commercial Lines department in servicing agencies by processing tasks needed in the areas of reporting, handling output, creating certified copies, motor vehicle reports, auto filings, cancellations/reinstatements, and conditional, non-renewal, and cancellation notices.

This position is based at our Headquarters in Fairfield, Ohio.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00 hourly. The pay determination is based on the applicant's education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.

Be ready to:

  • conduct basic quality audits on a random sample of policy transactions
  • generate certified copies when requested
  • complete mandatory auto filings
  • run motor vehicle reports
  • prepare physical policy output for mailing
  • generate policy reprints when requested
  • process policy cancellations or reinstatements when requested
  • produce Conditional, Non‐renewal, and Cancellation notices according to state requirements
  • create reporting folders and request outstanding reports for policies with reporting coverage
  • update reporting cabinet databases

Be equipped with:

  • strong attention to detail and ability to develop positive relationships within and across teams
  • desire to provide exceptional customer service
  • good written and verbal Professional communication skills
  • ability to research manuals and apply concepts to check quality of output
  • understanding of or ability to learn insurance filings, coverages and business rules
  • ability to learn and use systems such as Workbench, MVR, ODEN and Lexis Nexis

Bring education and experience from:

  • high school diploma or GED
  • experience with using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
