Description

SNI Companies is working with a large insurance company who is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Distribution Representative to drive agency growth and strengthen broker relationships throughout Maryland and Delaware. This role is ideal for a sales-driven insurance professional with an established network and a successful track record in Commercial Lines sales, underwriting, agency relations, or business development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and manage relationships with commercial insurance agencies and brokers.
  • Recruit and develop new agency partners within the territory.
  • Drive new business growth through agency engagement and strategic account development.
  • Identify cross-sell, upsell, and account retention opportunities.
  • Partner with underwriting teams to deliver competitive solutions.
  • Represent the organization at industry and networking events.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Commercial Property & Casualty insurance experience.
  • Background in Commercial Lines Sales, Production Underwriting, Agency Relations, Distribution Management, or Business Development.
  • Strong agency and broker network in Maryland and/or Delaware preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Active Property & Casualty License preferred (or ability to obtain).

Compensation & Benefits
  • Base salary: $95,000 - $110,000
  • Quarterly and annual bonus opportunities
