Commercial Lines Account Manager

 Foundation Risk Partners, one of the fastest growing insurance brokerage and consulting firm in the US, is adding a Commercial Lines Account Manager to their Acentria team.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. The Account Manager will be responsible for servicing and retaining an assigned book of commercial insurance business while providing exceptional support to clients, producers, and carrier partners. This role requires strong communication skills, insurance knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Functions:

• Manage an assigned book of commercial lines accounts.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding policy service needs.
• Process policy changes, endorsements, renewals, certificates of insurance, audits, cancellations, and reinstatements.
• Review coverage, identify gaps, and provide recommendations based on client exposures.
• Prepare and deliver renewal proposals and coordinate marketing efforts when applicable.
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation in the agency management system.
• Respond promptly to client inquiries and carrier requests.
• Collaborate with producers and internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
• Assist clients with claims reporting and claims follow-up as needed.
• Ensure compliance with agency workflows, carrier requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
• Proactively manage account activities and deadlines to maintain service excellence.

Education & Experience:

• 440 Customer Representative License or 220 Property & Casualty General Lines Agent License
• 3+ years of commercial insurance experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance coverages and policy forms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
