Commercial Lines Account Manager
A growing independent insurance agency in the Orlando market is looking to add a Commercial Lines Account Manager to its team. This is a high-impact role for someone who knows commercial lines, takes ownership of their book, and wants to be part of an agency that is scaling with intention.
This is not a plug-and-play service role. You will be trusted to manage relationships, think critically about coverage, and operate as a true partner to clients, producers, and carriers.
What You’ll Own
Manage a middle-market commercial book with a mix of small business, contractors, and property-driven accounts
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, handling day-to-day service, questions, and problem-solving
Review policies in detail, identify gaps, and provide clear, informed coverage recommendations
Handle the full policy lifecycle including submissions, marketing, endorsements, renewals, and changes
Work directly with underwriters to negotiate terms, structure coverage, and secure competitive pricing
Lead account reviews and stay aligned with clients as their businesses evolve
Coordinate with internal team members, including support staff, to keep accounts running smoothly
What They’re Looking For
Active Florida 2-20 or 4-40 license
3+ years of commercial lines experience with strong product knowledge
Comfortable managing a book of business and balancing multiple deadlines
Confident communicator who is client-facing, proactive, and phone-ready
Detail-oriented but not transactional. This role requires judgment and ownership
Experience working with agency management systems is helpful but not required

Compensation & Structure
Base salary typically in the $60K-$80K range, with flexibility for the right experience
