    Job Roles & Responsibilities

    Account Management & Client Service

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned commercial accounts, ensuring timely and effective communication with clients.
    • Address client inquiries, manage endorsements, renewals, and claims with precision and speed.
    • Review client portfolios regularly, ensuring adequate coverage and identifying opportunities for cross-selling or up-selling additional products.



    Client Retention & Satisfaction

    • Manage the renewal process, proactively identifying coverage gaps and presenting alternative solutions to maintain high client retention rates.
    • Conduct periodic reviews and coverage assessments with clients to enhance satisfaction and ensure proper risk management.



    Team Collaboration

    • Collaborate with underwriters, claims specialists, and sales teams to deliver seamless service and ensure the best outcomes for clients.
    • Provide input on client needs, market trends, and service improvements to management.



    Documentation & Compliance

    • Ensure accurate documentation of client interactions, policies, and changes within the agency management system.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory requirements to provide compliant and relevant coverage solutions.


    Sales Support & Strategy

    • Assist Account Executives with new business development by supporting sales presentations, providing coverage recommendations, and preparing proposals.
    • Contribute to the growth of Benchmark’s market share by actively identifying leads and referring prospects.


    Qualifications Needed:

    • State-issued, valid insurance license(s) required: Property and Casualty Insurance License (required)
    • Previous experience in the insurance industry as an account manager for commercial lines (required)
    • A thorough understanding of a variety of insurance company policies and insurance coverage offerings, including their costs and benefits
    • Sound knowledge or eagerness to learn the intricacies of working procedures within commercial enterprises to best advise clients on relevant policies
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel (required)

    Education:

    Experience:
