The Opportunity

Bay Road Insurance Partners is seeking a highly motivated commercial account manager to join our growing Commercial Hub, the centralized commercial insurance team. The individual in this role will be responsible for managing an existing book of small commercial accounts including renewal reviews, servicing and identifying cross-sell opportunities. 

Core Responsibilities

Client Management & Retention

1. Manage and grow an existing book of commercial accounts, acting as a trusted advisor to clients.
2. Proactively engage with clients to discuss renewal options, cross-sell opportunities, coverage details and benefits in a clear and concise manner. 
3. Handle service requests such as endorsements, audits, and other policy changes.
4. Ensure a seamless and exceptional client experience from initial contact through policy binding and ongoing service.

Professional Development

1. Continuously enhance knowledge of commercial insurance products, industry best practices, and sales techniques.
2. Collaborate with sales and operations leadership to develop and improve processes within the Commercial Hub, leveraging technology as needed.

Qualifications

1. Hold an active 2-20 or 4-40 Florida property & casualty insurance license.
2. Demonstrated success in a commercial account management role at an insurance agency.
3. Strong understanding of commercial insurance products such as commercial auto, general liability and workers' compensation.
4. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and excellent time management skills.  
5. Experience with agency management systems (such as Applied Epic) is highly preferred.
6. Performance driven and a team player.

Compensation & Benefits

1. This is a full-time position with a competitive base salary plus commissions
