As a Commercial Leasing Agent, you'll serve as the key point of contact for prospective tenants and help facilitate smooth leasing transactions. You'll work closely with the property management team to maintain a vibrant and compliant portfolio, contributing to the overall success of the company.
What You'll Do
As a Commercial Leasing Agent, you will be responsible for:
Connecting with prospective tenants and promoting available commercial properties
Conducting property tours and explaining leasing terms and agreements
Managing the leasing process from initial inquiry through lease negotiation and signing
Maintaining detailed tenant files, lease records, and property listings with property management software like Yardi, OneSite, or AppFolio
Ensuring compliance with Fair Housing, Section 8, LIHTC, and landlord-tenant laws
Coordinating with maintenance teams regarding property readiness and tenant concerns
Completing administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document processing
Providing excellent customer service and maintaining open communication with tenants and internal teams
Receiving training in residential leasing and property operations to support your growth within the company
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
Experience in commercial leasing, property management, or real estate administration
Knowledge of Fair Housing, LIHTC, and Section 8 programs
Familiarity with property management software platforms
Experience handling lease contracts and legal documentation
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced office environment
Facilities or property maintenance knowledge is a plus
