A day in the life
You start with a dispatch in your inbox, load a well-stocked company vehicle, and head to a job site where a new bank of commercial washers and dryers is about to come alive. You review blueprints and wiring diagrams with the general contractor, verify utilities, anchor and level equipment, make the critical electrical, plumbing, gas, and ventilation connections to code, and commission each machine. Before you leave, you test performance, train staff on safe operation and basic maintenance, complete installation documentation, inspection checklists, and warranty registration, and communicate any top-level escalations to your Manager. Then it’s on to the next site, tools organized and parts inventory ready.

- Install, configure, and commission commercial washers, dryers, and finishing equipment in laundromats, hotels, hospitals, and multi-unit residential facilities.

- Connect equipment to electrical, plumbing, gas, and ventilation systems in accordance with local codes and manufacturer specifications.
- Level and anchor machines to floors and walls to meet safety and performance requirements.
- Test and troubleshoot installations prior to customer handoff.
- Coordinate job site logistics with general contractors, facility managers, and utility trades.
- Train end users and facility teams on operation and basic maintenance.
- Complete all required paperwork: installation records, inspection checklists, and warranty registrations.

- Escalate top issues to the Manager and contribute ideas to improve best practices and processes.
