    Commercial Journeyman Electrician Dallas / Fort Worth, TX

    TradeSTAR is currently hiring experienced Commercial Journeyman Electricians for ongoing projects throughout the Dallas Fort Worth area. We are partnering with established electrical contractors that are actively working on large-scale commercial construction and tenant buildouts. If you take pride in your craftsmanship, safety, and leadership on the jobsite, this is a strong opportunity to stay consistently busy in a growing market.

    DFW continues to expand across commercial construction, industrial facilities, and mixed-use developments skilled Journeymen are in high demand, especially those who can step into lead roles when needed.

    Key Responsibilities

    Install, maintain, and troubleshoot commercial electrical systems on active job sites
    Run and bend EMT and rigid conduit (including offsets, 90s, saddles, and complex layouts)
    Perform wire pulls, terminations, and panel connections
    Install lighting systems, devices, switchgear, and electrical components
    Read and interpret blueprints, risers, and electrical schematics
    Coordinate with foremen, superintendents, and other trades to meet project deadlines
    Ensure all work is completed in accordance with NEC and jobsite safety standards
    Support and mentor apprentice electricians when assigned

    Qualifications


    Active Texas Journeyman Electrician License (required)
    Minimum 5 years of commercial electrical experience preferred
    Strong conduit bending and layout skills required
    Experience with wire pulling, terminations, and full system installation
    Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced commercial construction environments
    Working knowledge of NEC and jobsite safety procedures
    Leadership or lead experience is a plus
