Position Overview
The HVAC Service Technician demonstrates an ability to lead, direct, motivate and inspire workers in a positive manner
The HVAC Service Technician reports to the Field Service Supervisor / Service Manager
Responsibilities
As a Commercial HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for the following:
Maintaining and Servicing HVAC systems including Hydronic, Steam, Chilled Water, DX, Forced Air, Heat Pump, VAV, Constant Volume, Exhaust, Heat Recovery, and various related mechanical systems
Maintaining tools, supplies, and equipment
Performing preventive maintenance, service and repair on equipment
Following all safety requirements and use appropriate PPE
Keeping appropriate records
Having Flexibility to work extended shifts if needed (overtime as required)
Maintaining professional appearance
Communicating with customers
Requirements
5+ years’ experience as a Commercial/Industrial Service Technician Service and repair experience with HVAC/R equipment including: electrical, refrigeration, gas/oil, VAV/mixing boxes, fan boxes, controls, VRF, VFD, CRAC, DX, water source heat pumps, (WSHP), chillers, boilers and related hydronic equipment
Valid NC drivers’ license and CFC certification. (Universal)
Excellent customer service skills
Must be able to work independently and as a team member
