Commercial/Industrial Door Technician

Our Door Technicians travel to customer locations, using a company van/truck, to provide the on-site client repairs, maintenance of all brands of sectional doors, rolling doors, and entry doors, and new product installations. Cisco Inc. is looking for Commercial/Industrial Door Technicians to service our growing list of Customers in the Metro-Detroit area.

Cisco Inc. is looking for Commercial/Industrial Door Technicians to service our growing list of Customers in the Metro-Detroit area.  This position would be dispatched from our Door & Gate division located in Muskegon.  The ideal candidate would be comfortable operating semi-independently.  Any loading dock experience would be helpful but not required.  Cisco, Inc is exclusively industrial and commercial business – no residential work provided.

Full Time, 1st-Shift | Monday – Friday | Overtime and Weekends Availability Required 
* Compensation is based on experience and professionalism, but assume starting wage is $28 - $32/hour.

About Our Field Service Technicians: 
Our Door Technicians travel to customer locations, using a company van/truck, to provide the on-site client repairs, maintenance of all brands of sectional doors, rolling doors, and entry doors, and new product installations.

Qualifications: 

• Have a Valid Driver’s License in Good Standing 
• Possess a Strong Technical /Mechanical Aptitude 
• 3+ years of Experience in Commercial and/or Residential Door Service 
• Knowledge of Gate/Access Control OR Loading Docks is a bonus
• Proficient with Hand and Power Tools 
• Have Good Customer Relations Skills with Clear and Concise Language Skills 
• Enjoy being part of a Team, but can Work Independently 
• Utilize Technology such as a Laptop or Tablet
• Ability to lift 50 pounds due to Lift and Move Functions 

Responsibilities: 

• Service, Maintenance, Repair, and Installation on Industrial and Commercial Doors  
• Troubleshoot Door Equipment, Mechanisms, Mechanical and Electrical Systems 
• Coordinate with Parts and Service Department Daily 
• Complete Work Orders in a Timely Manner 
• Follow All Safety Procedures within Cisco Inc’s Guidelines 
• Perform any Other Duties as Assigned
