We are looking for a skilled Commercial HVAC Technician to support our facility by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, boiler, and related mechanical systems. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with a variety of systems, and taking ownership of equipment performance in a production-focused environment.


THE OPPORTUNITY
As a Commercial HVAC Technician, your work will directly support facility reliability, employee comfort, equipment uptime, safety, and daily operations. This role is a strong fit for someone with commercial HVAC or HVAC/R experience who can troubleshoot independently, read schematics, respond with urgency, and communicate clearly when system issues may affect the facility or production.

The team is growing and we're adding multiple Commercial HVAC Technicians on 2nd shift (3pm-11:30pm) and 3rd shift (11pm-7:30am) with Mon-Fri and Sun-Thurs schedule options available.


WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems, air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, ammonia refrigeration equipment, plumbing systems, and related mechanical systems
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and control-related issues using schematics, meters, ohmmeters, technical documentation, and hands-on experience
• Repair or replace HVAC/R components, plumbing components, controls, equipment parts, and related system components
• Support HVAC installation or system improvement projects as needed
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and equipment performance
• Assist with broader facility maintenance needs, including mechanical repairs, appliance repair, welding, and other hands-on work as required
• Communicate clearly with maintenance, operations, production, vendors, and leadership when issues may affect safety, comfort, uptime, or workflow
• Follow company safety practices, food manufacturing requirements, and applicable procedures
• Operate company vehicles safely when needed

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Experience as a commercial HVAC, HVAC/R, refrigeration, facilities, or related service technician
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, boilers, controls, and related mechanical systems
• Ability to read schematics, technical diagrams, system documentation, and HVAC design information
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues using meters, ohmmeters, schematics, and related tools
• Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration, boilers, plumbing systems, HVAC controls, and general facility maintenance
• Welding, appliance repair, and broader equipment repair experience are helpful
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform hands-on work in a manufacturing environment
• Strong safety mindset, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and communication skills

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Base Pay: $31.50–$43.00 per hour, based on experience and skillset
Additional Compensation: Overtime after 40 hrs, shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift
