Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Field Service Technician to join our growing team. This role is responsible for traveling to customer sites to troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and service commercial and industrial HVAC equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with chillers, boilers, refrigeration systems, and commercial HVAC equipment, along with excellent customer service and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to customer locations to perform service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial and industrial HVAC equipment.
- Diagnose and correct equipment malfunctions efficiently and safely.
- Perform advanced refrigerant troubleshooting and system diagnostics.
- Service and maintain chillers, boilers, refrigeration systems, and related HVAC equipment.
- Complete detailed field service reports documenting findings, repairs, and recommendations.
- Communicate professionally with customers in person, by phone, and in writing.
- Coordinate effectively with dispatch and internal teams to ensure exceptional customer service.
- Identify opportunities to promote additional service offerings and equipment upgrades.
- Follow all company safety procedures, policies, and standard operating practices.
- Adapt to changing job site conditions and customer needs while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in the commercial or industrial HVAC industry.
- Experience servicing commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Chiller and boiler experience strongly preferred.
- HVAC manufacturer-specific training and/or technical college education preferred.
- Knowledge of refrigeration cycles, controls, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check.

- Experience working directly with commercial and industrial customers.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and service documentation.
