The position requires a strong mechanical background and the ability to work independently while representing the company in a professional manner on job sites.Core ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance on commercial HVAC equipmentDiagnose and repair system issues across heating, cooling, and ventilation systemsTroubleshoot mechanical and controls-related problems in the fieldComplete service work in accordance with company and union standardsCommunicate findings and recommendations clearly with customers and internal teamsMaintain job documentation and service records accuratelySupport preventative maintenance programs to ensure system reliabilityRequired Experience and QualificationsCommercial or industrial HVAC service experienceWorking knowledge of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and building automationEPA Universal CertificationOSHA 10 CertificationValid driver's license with acceptable driving recordComfortable working at heights and in various commercial environmentsStrong troubleshooting ability and mechanical aptitudeEffective communication skills with customers and team membersWillingness to participate in ongoing training and union education programsPreferred BackgroundHVAC trade school or technical certificationJourneyman status or ability to obtainThis is an opportunity to join a well-established mechanical contractor offering steady work, strong support, and long-term career stability within the commercial HVAC industry.
